So, it's only early December and the kids have already had 2 snow days. In the 11 years we've lived in the Madison area the Madison schools have closed maybe 5 times. But, this year - 2 already. Last winter the Madison area broke a total accumulation snow fall record of over 100 inches. I feel certain we will break that record this year. For Randy's B-day I took him to get a snow blower. Probably the best money we will spend this winter! Here are the kids with our thermometer. It was -1 and they were getting ready to go to school. This does not include the wind chill....
