Some Soccer '10

The new soccer season started up with games starting last week end. Acacia is now on an all girls team. Their first game they got crushed 0-8 because the girls were making really dumb mistakes (centering the ball in front of their own goal ALL the time). Acacia was really discouraged and actually said she would rather be back on the boys team as at least they knew how to play. Coach added another practice to the week and they have had 2 more games. A tie and lost again but it was 1-3. They are playing MUCH better now. You can hear them on the field yelling at each other to correct the mistakes they make and also cheering each other on when they make good plays. I think they will end up being a pretty strong team.

Chris' team actually plays pretty well but I only have the team photos. Sorry! No action shots. But, as you can see by how Chris is in the team photos - you should be able to tell how he is on the field.
