Acacia's Spring Concert '06

They practiced for months. The event was very well attended with strawberry short cake after the performance. We then walked over to the farmers market and the fish pond. It was a great day!!

Play Ball!!

After the Dedication we had a full day of fun. We went to the zoo, out to lunch, to Brenna's (Krenke) 4th birthday party and then off to the park to PLAY BALL, fly kites, toss frisbee and softballs and just play.

Saturday April 22, 2006 we Dedicated the kids. We had our friends the Flemmings and the Krenke's come and I managed to keep from weeping. I think the only reason I did not weep is becuase Chris was distracting me. You'll have to see the video to understand.

Easter '06

Click the link below to see some photos of Easter here in WI! Saturday we went to our local Easter Egg hunt. Chris did great! He went right up to the bunny and got some treats. Acacia hid behind dad. She indicated that this bunny had "horns" and she was not going to go anywhere near it. Chris got lots of eggs and was happy. Acacia got a couple eggs (only because dad picked them up) and was not happy until she could eat the candy. The Easter bunny came Sunday and left the jelly bean trail. We have footage of Acacia screaming at Chris that he was moving in on her trail and he better back off. We went to church and then to a GREAT brunch that had another bunny. Apparently, this one did not have horns coming out of his head as Acacia was fine with this bunny. Hope everyone had a great Easter! :)

We played hookie and took the kids to one of the indoor water parks up in the Dells. They did not stop at all!! Chris finally fell asleep while eating Cheetoes at 7:00pm.

UW Madison Women's BB with the Girls '06

Acacia turns 5!!

Click on the below link to see photos from Acacia's 5 year birthday! The festivities started on January 25th (her actual birthday). We went to the Nitty Gritty Birthday Bar (and restaurant) along with Acacia's Birthday Buddy, Kathy. Kathy is one of my best friends!! Acacia was born on her birthday! Saturday was Acacia's party at Madtown Twisters! She requested a sailboat cake (don't know why). And lastly, she had two of her best friends spend the night! Their first sleep over and we all survived!! A do believe a good time was had by all! May I just say .... I am a bit tired.

Christmas '05


We went to the tree farm and got our perfect Christmas tree. We went in the middle of a week day so no one was there. They let us go sledding on this great hill of packed snow! Even Nono and Emme went down the hill on the sled!!


One day we all went ice skating! My friend Maya was there with her family! We used chairs to help us learn how to skate, but they ended up being a pretty good way to get the grown ups to push us around on the ice. Emme and Nono skating too!!

I made a snow man (and woman) with my Dad and Nono. Do you like the grass skirt?

We went to Cascade with Emme and Nono and did some skiing. Emme went skiing, but Nono opted out of this activity.
